God of Love
Who can measure our God
of love? His faithful love reaches to the remote ends of the earth. God’s
love surrounds all people from the lowest valley to the highest mountain.
His precious God love never fails. It always satisfies with kindness,
peace, and joy.
I sometimes think about God and wonder, “How big is God?” The
Bible says that he knows every detail about us. The Father knows what we
need even before we know that we need it (Matt. 6:8).
God Love Created each of us
The next time you drive
through your city or neighborhood, pick a street and think of each
separate
house. In each house lives a person or a family made up of individual
people. Every man, woman, and child has desires and dreams in life. These
dreams differ for every person in every house. The Creator knows each
person’s thoughts and desires, and he knows every detail of their life.
When we multiply the millions of details in each person’s life by the
billions of people around the world, we can truly ask, “How big is his
God love?”
4He determines the number of the
stars and calls them each by name. 5Great is our Lord and
mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. 11the LORD
delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
(Ps. 147:4, 5, 11, NIV).
However, our God of love is not so big that he sits back and watches the world
wind down. He reaches out to touch each person on his or her level. Jesus
walks with each of us through the deserts and the gardens of our lives.
His God love for each of his children always extends toward them. Jesus Christ
yearns for a unity with each of us. The Lord delights in his children’s
love, and he understands our cries for his peace.
